About Me

I've spent a lot of my life figuring things out on my own—and questioning expectations about what we're supposed to do and how life is supposed to look.

That curiosity has shaped both my work and my life. I'm a CFP® professional, have spent a decade in financial services, and now help grow and improve the business my dad built from the ground up. A late ADHD diagnosis also helped me better understand a brain that loves solving problems and questioning how things work.

But some of life's hardest lessons had nothing to do with work.

Losing someone I loved to suicide fundamentally changed how I saw the world and myself. I learned that being capable of handling life isn't necessarily the same as feeling connected to it and the people around me.

This site is about what I've discovered since—through isolation, solo travel, listening to music, reading books, fitness and nutrition—to name a few, and asking plenty of questions along the way.

I don't have all the answers. I just hope something here helps you find your way.

What are you rethinking?

Maybe it's something about work, relationships, technology, mental health, the way we communicate—or just something you've always wondered why we do the way we do.
